ENGINEERING UTILITIES IN EXCLUSIVE DEAL ON NEW HIGH-CAPACITY TIG BRUSH® WELD CLEANING SYSTEM
Engineering Utilities has announced an exclusive distribution deal to supply the latest TIG Brush® weld cleaning system in the UK.
Under the agreement, Engineering Utilities will offer the new TIG Brush® TBE-700, the most powerful weld cleaning system yet from Australian manufacturers Ensitech.
TIG Brush®, which provides a viable alternative to ‘pickling paste’ as a method of cleaning heat tint from stainless steel and aluminium welds, has made tremendous inroads into the metal fabrication and welding industries since its UK launch in 2010. Its key feature is a revolutionary way of combining electrical heat within a brush to apply non‑toxic food-grade cleaning fluid. This is non-hazardous and means that companies can dispense with the expensive and time-consuming protection and disposal procedures they have previously used with pickling paste.
The brush’s high temperature also simultaneously removes the iron oxide residue produced by the welding process and restores the steel’s protective chromium oxide layer – therefore removing the need for a separate passivation process.
Engineering Utilities has listened to customer feedback that underlined the need for a higher-capacity machine to do bigger and more extensive weld-cleaning jobs.
The newly-launched TBE-700 machine, which is exclusive in the UK to Engineering Utilities, drives large brushes and works on both stainless steel and aluminium. Operating on 110v/230v with auto-switching, it has a maximum reach with extension cables of 18 metres.
The machine comes with a complete starter package of brushes and fluids and low‑cost, genuine TIG Brush® consumables from Engineering Utilities make the machine the class leader in value for money.
